Governance Court

Each quarter, the community’s 1,920 presidents convene in four simultaneous governance courts, held in buildings 5 and 17. Building 5 holds two courts — a lower court for partnered males, and a higher court for partnered females. Building 17, mirroring it, holds a lower court for single males and a higher court for single females. Each court seats 480 presidents, on floors 2 and 4 of its building. This graphic represents one governance court (all four are identical in seating and orientation); because the east and west pulpits serve different quorums in bilateral parity, the west stand is lettered separately for its own congregation.
